6 Reasons to own a Home.......

There are so many reasons to own a home and these are just some of them of them. To me Appreciation and Equity really stand out the most. The reason is that all the other factors in the graph above happen with those two benefits. Let's face it you and your families future depend on having enough money to retire and real estate can play a key factor in that. 

Roots, Education, and Happiness can happen and areas that create that home owners get more money for their property.

For example one of the first issues you hear from a buyer is what school district is the home in. They then look online and see how the school is rated in the state. It is important for their family to get the best education available. 

Happiness is going to your favorite coffee shop, eatery and shopping. Areas that have those amenities will be at the top of the list for home buyers. As a Realtor I see the areas that have high demand for new listings. 

Tax savings is another great thing about home ownership. In some cases you cannot not deduct the interest, but you can deduct maintenance and upgrades when you sell the home. 

Community and Roots are important in Northern Ohio and having that perfect place to dwell. Community plays a very big factor in making neighborhoods like communities.

I sold a home in December and the buyer sent my client a letter explaining how much they loved the home and would be taking care of it. That is community.
