Being a Realtor for the last 19 years has created a lot of challenges and learning that most new Realtors never expect.

Buying and Selling real estate has many different facets to it. Basically every transaction can be a little different and need more attention. These are the abilities that agents need to learn in order to survive the real estate market and the competition.

For example what areas and type of homes you fell would fit your business and how you can get your clients the best representation for each deal.

For example I had a closing on a home in Seven Hills Ohio and needed the sellers signature to close the home. Unfortunately the client was in Mexico in a very remote area that did not have a notary near buy. After hours of work we found on at the embassy and got the deal sign and sold! That is unexpected out of the box stuff you need to know as an agent.

There are many different ways to make a commission and most brokerages only teach the buy and sell methods. I personally make a lot of money in commissions in other areas of real estate business. That is the key to making a steady stream of income is knowing all the services your clients need and make sure you can do them.
