This is what I think will happen to a lot of the online real estate companies that do not have private real estate agents to represent clients. Realtors have such an advantage on online real estate sites, because they usually do not get paid until a transaction closes. I found this article at https://finance.yahoo.com/news/

You know how it is when you pay for something up front people they sometimes get lazy about the end results. I mean what do they have to worry about they have your hard earned money upfront!
That is why I have the Full Service Flat Fee Listing that does not get paid until the property is sold! I had two contracts on homes I listed just Friday over the weekend with this system. One contract is a full price offer and the other is only a few thousand dollars off the asking price.
Once the offer is excepted then the work really begins, getting the inspections, appraisals and closing done. That takes doing a lot of deals and understanding how to negotiate all the moving parts to a successful conclusion.
I am personally with EXP Realty and it is a agent driven online brokerage that is selling homes and has over 20,000 agents in the US. EXP Realty is in all 50 states and gives their agents state of the art software to get homes sold quickly.
Remember that a Realtor that receives a commission has to first get your property transaction completed. That means that they have to work hard for you to earn the money.
