Purple Bricks to pull out of US as losses jump 88%



This is what I think will happen to a lot of the online real estate companies that do not have private real estate agents to represent clients. Realtors have such an advantage on online real estate sites, because they usually do not get paid until a transaction closes. I found this article at https://finance.yahoo.com/news/

"Purple Bricks was founded in 2012 with the aim of disrupting the real estate market. It has no local branches, and charges an up-front fee for advertising properties and arranging viewings, rather than a sale commission."

You know how it is when you pay for something up front people they sometimes get lazy about the end results. I mean what do they have to worry about they have your hard earned money upfront! 

That is why I have the Full Service Flat Fee Listing that does not get paid until the property is sold! I had two contracts on homes I listed just Friday over the weekend with this system. One contract is a full price offer and the other is only a few thousand dollars off  the asking price.



Once the offer is excepted then the work really begins, getting the inspections, appraisals and closing done. That takes doing a lot of deals and understanding how to negotiate all the moving parts to a successful conclusion.
