To get rich in real estate as an agent

I got this title from https://www.inman.com/ that says that most Realtors average pay is $40,000 a year. They also go on to say how to make more money selling more expensive housing. That is true but you make money with lower priced homes.

"The rich like to work with people who conduct themselves with class, competence and confidence. If you don’t have these, you might have a reason for your fear — but all of this is fixable with coaching."

The key to deal with any type of client is being prepared and having the knowledge of what the clients needs are. I personally study trends and cities on their pricing and leasing. The best way to get the home sold or leased and making sure the marketing is handled correctly. 

Competence is the biggest key to success, it's not easy to be a Realtor, you basically are on your own and most learn all the ins and outs on your own. 

"Because agents are not used to living in, visiting or selling expensive homes — and working with wealthy people — there’s a fear of the unknown. But is this fear is grounded in reality?"

Realtors just need to know there housing information and the amenities that surround the property your client is interested in. The key factor they failed to mention in this article is that wealthy home buyers take a lot longer to make a decision on a home in most cases.

The luxury real estate market is not as hot as the medium priced real estate market, therefore luxury buyers take a lot more time to purchase, if they do. I personally took a very nice couple out for a year before they purchased their luxury home. 

Time is money and you really need to be in all markets to make money being a Realtor. Me personally I sell income real estate, Lease real estate, Sell Real estate, and help some buyers find their dream homes. 

"Just don’t let the fear of working with people who are wealthy and smart (and kinder than you might imagine), keep you from getting rich in real estate"

So true, after all that is why you are a Realtor. To find clients their dream homes that they want and sometimes need.
