This article comes from https://magazine.realtor/ and it talks about what people in this pool think are the safest investment.
"Across age groups, consumers believe that purchasing a home is a solid investment, according to a new survey from Porch.com, a home remodeling website. They’re upbeat even though many, particularly the youngest generation, believe they will face another housing crisis in their lifetime."
I do not believe that there will be any housing crisis in the near future. We had 15 years of bad real estate, inventory is low and it will take time to catch up with home builds.
Prices will continue to go higher and inflation is low, that spells good times for real estate buyers. Remember there where no homes being built in 10 years before 2016.
"Homeownership has long been linked with long-term wealth building. Porch.com surveyed nearly 1,400 consumers to ask them what they believe is the safest investment over the next 10 years. Owning a home was the overall leader."
That is great news for consumer confidence is very important to a great economy and people spending their money. Let's face it people like to spend their money and there is no better place than real estate.
Lastly most people have great jobs and have more purchasing power than they have ever before. That will mean that prices will continue to go up and people will hve the confidence in the American economy.
