When you are looking at any type of investment do not go to a company that only cares about what they make and buy everything they see that makes them that money.

In order for any type of investment to be successful it also has to keep tenants and create a consistent income for a portfolio.
The other factor that is needed in any investment is equity, real equity that you can tap into at anytime. Whether you sell or refinance the property it needs to be attainable equity.
We have had a couple of clients that needed to sell their properties because of situations that came up in their lives. Both of the properties sold and the clients captures their rents and their equity. That's called profit and that is why any investor buys real estate PROFIT!
