Proving to someone you know what you're doing needs verification. Ever get emails about millions of dollars being stuck in some other country and they need your help to get it out. They will even split the money with you for helping.
I have always emailed to prove it or show me the money in a bank account. I even give them an account number to send the money to and we can do all the paperwork later. The next thing that happens is crickets. NOTHING
Proving that you are good at any service requires proof. In real estate it is no different. You need proof that any person that you're working with is good.
I personally love when potential clients ask me to prove to them I know what you're doing. I always send my full resume and they can check the results.
