Real Estate is changing everyday and so is being a Realtor. Being a Realtor today is challenging if you do not understand technology and have unique services that can make your business stand out.
I have been a Realtor for 21 years and have seen a lot of changes in my industry. The Internet has really been the biggest disruption for the Real Estate Business. Let's face it with Zillow, Realtor.com and others have given more tools to non-realtors than Realtors.
They have helped market real estate so that buyers can see homes in local areas and some buyers fell they do not need a Realtor.
Realtors have to market a lot more now and understand how to get clients. There are still brokerages that teach cold calling and knocking on doors. That is OK to do but it requires a lot of rejections and time.
My Real Estate business comes from my marketing and referrals only. I have never cold called or door knocked. Personally I would have never been a Realtor if that was the only way to get business.
Instead I have built a marketing platform that attracts clients and new customers every week. This week I sold 3 homes, got 2 listings, leased 2 homes and purchased a home. How did that happen? My marketing platform gets me consistent business even when I'm sleeping.
Being a Realtor that does 100+ Transactions a year since 2018 I understand and know the importance of having a marketing platform. It helps my clients get more potential sales and properties and it keeps my business moving forward.
