Christmas and Real Estate

Christmas is a fun time with all the parties and festive things to see and do. The great thing to remember is that it is a great time to do real estate.

Buying a home, especially an investment property, is sometimes a better deal during the holidays. For sellers they know that offers in December are serious buyers and want their property.

One time I was doing an open house for a rental the night before Christmas Eve and no one had shown up during the time I was there. Disappointed I left and as I was turning off the street where the home was a car turned in going in the direction of my home I was at.

I quickly turned around and went back to find that the lady was pulling in the home, I opened it up again and they leased the home. They leased the home for 2 years and were great tenants.

There are deals to be made during the Christmas season and some of those deals can create great income and equity for any investor's portfolio. Buyers that make offers are serious about buying a property during this season also.

Getting good solutions on buying, selling and leasing real estate is a year around. I have been doing Christmas Real Estate for the last 22 years and know that it may be the best time to do your real estate needs.
