New Rules For Eviction for Federal Assistance for Tenants Extra 30 Days

The new rules for federal assistance always favors the tenants in most cases. The new rule now is you have to provide written notification to tenants facing eviction for nonpayment 30 days prior to filing for eviction.

This will affect a lot of investors who cannot get an extra months rent on their properties. Think about it you have to go give them a written and 30 day notice and then file for eviction which takes time in Ohio. That would be another 4 to 6 weeks and we’re very landlord, friendly state.

Any federally funded Tenant now will get an extra 60 to 90 days to be evicted.

This is why we purchase properties that people want to live in not that they have to. We currently have no federally funded Tenant so our investors do not have to worry about this new law.
